Cashier/Sales Associate

DIP TWO Package Store is a locally owned liquor store dedicated to providing top-tier customer service and a wide selection of wines and spirits We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Sales Associate to join our team and help keep the store organized, clean, and fully stocked. Our ideal candidate is attentive, punctual, and reliable.

Position Overview:
As a Sales Associate, you'll be the face of the store — helping customers find what they’re looking for, keeping the store clean and organized, and supporting smooth daily operations. We're looking for someone dependable, friendly, and interested in learning more about wine and spirits.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide excellent assistance with product selection and inquiries
• Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately
• Restock shelves and ensure displays are neat and fully stocked
• Perform ID checks on customers and notify management of violations, concerns, etc
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store
• Assist with inventory counts and deliveries as needed
• Be at work at least 5 minutes before shift starts. On time is late. We open no earlier than 9 AM and close no later than 9 PM (hours subject to change around the holidays)
• Comply with all regulations regarding sales transactions and established procedures
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Prior retail or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Able to manage time efficiently and effectively
• Ability to lift 20 lbs consistently and stand for extended amount of time
• Proven working experience as a cashier or in customer service
• Self driven people that do not need to be micromanaged
• Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Applicant should be able to complete daily responsibilities without supervision.
• MUST BE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OF AGE.
• MUST LIVE IN THE IMMEDIATE AREA.
• Need at least 3 references when applying.

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 12 per week
