About the Role

As a Service Specialist, you are the face of Clean O'Clock on-site. You'll be delivering high-standard cleaning services across Canterbury to our clients, working independently or as part of a team, to ensure every space we visit is left looking its absolute best.

This is a casual, on-call position — perfect for someone who values flexibility and wants to pick up work around their existing schedule.

What You'll Be Doing

• Premium Standards: Completing assigned cleans to our company standard in accordance with specific job orders and company checklists.
• Documentation: Capturing before-and-after photos for company records.
• Inventory Control: Conducting equipment and supply stocktakes after cleaning jobs, reporting any issues or low stock to management.
• Health & Safety: Proactively identifying, managing, and reporting any on-site health and safety risks.
• Client Care: Representing Clean O'Clock professionally at all times, including greeting clients on-site and identifying opportunities to introduce relevant add-on services or retail products.
• Transit: Travelling to residential and commercial job sites across the Canterbury region as required.

What We're Looking For

• Clear Record: A clean Ministry of Justice criminal record check (mandatory).
• Work Entitlement: Legal right to work in New Zealand — NZ Citizenship, Permanent Residency, or a valid working visa.
• Time Management: Exceptional punctuality is non-negotiable. Our team operates on a structured cleaning schedule, and being on time ensures we respect our clients' time and deliver a seamless service.
• Attention to Detail: High standards and a genuine sense of pride in the quality of your finished work.
• Communication: A friendly, professional attitude with strong communication skills.
• Physical Fitness: Capability for a highly active, physical cleaning role, including standing, bending, and lifting up to 15–20kg regularly.
• Experience: Prior residential or commercial cleaning experience is a bonus — but not essential, as on-the-job training will be provided.
• Transport: A valid NZ Full Driver's Licence and reliable personal transport are highly preferred as daily travel across the region is required. Additionally, you may be required to operate our company van; therefore, a clean driving record is essential.

Hours & Availability

This is a casual, on-call cleaning role with no guaranteed weekly hours. We always aim to provide sufficient notice of upcoming jobs; however, flexibility is essential. Clean O'Clock operates seven days a week, with shifts scheduled across morning and evening time slots.
