Casual Dietary Aide (Food Service Attendant)

Maxville Manor is a 122-bed long-term care home located in Maxville, Ontario which is only 30 minutes east of Ottawa or 30 minutes north of Cornwall; currently seeking Dietary Aides to join our Maxville Manor Team. At the present time, we have several part time positions available. These positions would also include additional hours of work through call-in shifts.

Under the direction of the Director of Food Services, the Dietary Aide will be responsible for setup, preparation, service, and sanitation associated with all meal service in our home.

Qualifications Required:

• Food handlers Certificate (preferred; can be supported by the Manor)
• Enrolment or completion of the Food Service Worker Certificate or equivalent Employee education program is available for the right candidate
• Previous experience in the food service industry considered an asset
• Clear Criminal Record Check / Vulnerable Sector Screening

The candidate should be able to work independently and collaboratively, be physically fit, responsible, punctual, and reliable and be able to deliver excellence in customer service for our residents. High School Students are welcome to apply and only require the Safe Food Handlers Course to start. If you do not have this program, we will support your completion of it.

Pay: $20.34-$21.89 per hour
