About us
Integrated Food Concepts is a growing business based in Houston, TX; growing to Austin. We specialize in corporate foodservice via corporate catering, office cafeterias, and office pop ups - mainly serving office buildings, hospitals, and other corporate cafes and caterings - which means we are a mostly lunch business and serve when office buildings are open (we are growing our weekend and evening catering business as well so evening/weekend availability a plus). We provide companies over 20+ cuisine concepts and brands - everything from Tex-Mex, to Mediterranean, to fine dining. Since we've started we've grown to serve some of the largest Fortune 500 companies out there and grew almost 10X our first year!
We're looking to add to our growing team of amazing Catering Service Professionals with a passion for food and hospitality!
We are hiring 2-3 Catering Service Specialists for our growing catering business. The ideal candidate is someone who is independent and capable of leading and executing our specific event procedures on a small team, large team, or even solo. Must have a keen eye for presentation and experience setting up catering events, bars, buffets, etc. Also must have a reliable vehicle for catering deliveries (you will be compensated for your mileage). This position will provide all of the different types of service we offer to our different types of clients:
- Corporate cafes in office buildings
- Catering deliveries
- Full service catering events (this takes an artistic touch, creatives highly encouraged and thrive here)
- All of which are directly facing our customers and responsible for interacting with guests, guest relations, and providing above and beyond customer service.
- This position will also occasionally require assisting with basic food prep.
- We'll also train you how to make authentic French crepes!

- Prep and serve - 90% of what we do is back of house prep; then serving guests in a speedy, par-cooked (buffet-style) service

- Smile - not only do we bring one to every guest interaction, we care a lot about having good energy among our work crew!
- Experience - varied experience across several stations is greatly preferred
- Cool under pressure - some cafes can get really busy, really quick, our guests can never see you sweat!
- Communication - is everything in all successful relationships and businesses. Clearly and effectively communicate at all times.
- Flexibility & transportation - we rotate staff at our many office building locations around town. We have clients from Spring to downtown.
The client we are hiring for requires vaccines (no COVID), background check, and drug test.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
