Job Title: Catering Supervisor
Location: PREMIA CORPORATE CATERING, Rosario Commercial Lane, Rosario Avenue, Rosario Complex, San Pedro City, Laguna (Near Southwoods City)
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and organized Catering Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our catering services. The Catering Supervisor will manage staff, ensure high-quality service, and coordinate logistics for a variety of events. This role is crucial in maintaining excellent client relationships and delivering seamless catering experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all catering activities for scheduled events, ensuring exceptional service and client satisfaction.
- Manage food preparation, transportation, and setup at event venues while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and customize menus, setups, and services accordingly.
- Oversee catering staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Ensure proper packing, loading, and unloading of catering supplies and equipment.
- Monitor inventory levels of catering-specific items (e.g., utensils, tableware, linens) and coordinate with the purchasing team for replenishment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during events, ensuring smooth operations.
- Maintain compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations throughout all catering activities.
- Prepare post-event reports, documenting successes and areas for improvement.
- Assist with budgeting, planning, and forecasting for catering operations.
Qualifications: Education:
- A degree or certification in hospitality management, culinary arts, or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
- At least 2-3 years of experience in catering, hospitality, or food service management.
- Previous supervisory experience is a plus.
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members.
- Problem-solving skills to handle challenges during events.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (HACCP certification is a plus).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing demands.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications for reporting and scheduling.
