Catering Support / Floater

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and flexible Catering Floater to provide support across our busy client site in Dublin City Centre. This role involves stepping in to cover busy service periods, sickness cover, or when extra support is needed in the kitchen and front-of-house. You will assist with both kitchen duties (as a kitchen assistant/porter) and customer service tasks, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and a positive experience for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide flexible support across kitchen and service teams.
• Carry out general kitchen assistant and porter duties (cleaning, food prep, dishwashing, restocking, etc.).
• Deliver friendly and efficient customer service during busy service times in client’s sites.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards.
• Work closely with the team to ensure smooth operations throughout the day.
• Adapt quickly to changing demands in a fast-paced environment.

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous experience in customer service and kitchen assistant/porter roles.
• Friendly, bubbly, and approachable personality.
• Strong ability to work under pressure in a busy environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible in supporting different tasks.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Must be legally eligible to work up to 40 hours per week in Ireland.
• Available to work fixed hours Monday to Friday
