Cbay Cafe Assistant - Part-Time

The Role

CBay Café is recruiting! We have an exciting part-time opportunity to join our awesome team.

The Café is open 7 days per week. We are a small but passionate team who are dedicated to delivering our wonderful customers an excellent café experience.

If you’re looking for a role where you have the opportunity to unleash your passion for delivering outstanding coffee to a broad range of customers, and your love of creating and presenting delicious café treats…this could be the role for you. You’ll be part of a multi-tasking team who thrive under pressure, and enjoy the hustle and bustle of a busy café day.

This role is 25 hours per week, working 5–7.5 hours per shift between Monday and Sunday, and includes one weekend shift.

We’re looking for someone who brings:

• Friendly smile and top notch customer service skills
• Great banter and a sense of humour
• Barista skills is a plus but not essential as full training will be given if you’re the right person
• Strong focus on safe food hygiene and food preparation
• Reliability and attention to detail
• Great interpersonal skills, as a community hub we deal with a variety of people of all ages and cultures.
