The office is expanding, and we are looking for a unique individual to join our team.

We are seeking a certified dental assistant who can wear many hats in the office. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills. We are looking for a team that enjoys a fast-paced, fun work environment. The successful candidate will have a passion for building strong patient relationships and contributing to the ongoing oral health of their community.

Duties will include assisting with doctors and sterilization duties

• Helping with administrative tasks in the office, such as scheduling and record-keeping
• Preparing and taking X-rays of patients
• Greeting patients upon arrival
• Teaching and advising patients on proper oral hygiene
• Assisting in dental procedures
• Sterilizing equipment and following proper hygienic protocol
• Assisting the dentist with emergency dental work
• Managing the inventory of dental equipment and supplies

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

• Kamloops, BC V2C 6L1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• Dental Assisting: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Certified Dental Assistant (required)
