Chase Boat Captain 38ft

We are seeking a Chase Boat Captain to join a world cruising programme supporting a large sailing yacht. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join an established team with the itinerary spening this summer in Newport followed with Cuba, Mexico, Belize, Panama, Tahiti and New Zealand.

The chase boat is a 38ft twin inboard vessel and will either complete passages independently with additional crew support provided where required, or be shipped for larger crossings. The role requires someone confident operating independently, managing yard periods, handling basic servicing and fault finding, and maintaining high operational standards throughout the programme. There will be a thorough two-month handover with the outgoing captain, including owner trips, allowing for a smooth transition into the role.

. Sailing experience would be a bonus, though not essential. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, adaptable, practical and excited by long-term cruising. Start date is end of June.

Qualifications required: Yachtmaster Offshore, proven large tender or chase boat experience, and at least 3 years in the industry. A B1/B2 visa is essentialItinerary:
