Childcare Assistant (School Age)

Sherpa Kids Lucan is looking for fun and energetic people to join their enthusiastic and dynamic team.

Working hours: Full time; 7.30am to 9.30am and 1pm to 6pm Monday to Friday. Part time 7.30 to 9 and 1.30pm to 4.30

Requirements of Assistant:

• Sporty and energetic plus a love for the outdoors
• Passionate, creative, approachable and enthusiastic
• Love working and playing with children
• Experience working with school aged children
• Flexible and willing to work across multiple services in Lucan
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills
• Own transport (preferred)
• Live in or close to Lucan

Responsibilities of Assistant:

• Supervise and assist children in programme activities for example: Arts & crafts, sports, games, child wellness, nutrition, offsite visits and excursions.
• Assist the team to create a fun and caring environment for the children

Sherpa Kids Lucan provides before and after school care onsite at schools in Lucan. We are looking for fun and energetic people to join our team. This role is perfect for someone starting a career in childcare, Special Needs Assistants or someone who loves working with kids.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From €13.65 per hour
