Cleaner – Janitor – Custodian (Mason Building – Cincinnati, OH)

We are urgently hiring a dedicated cleaner for the Mason Building located at 6000 Mason Montgomery Rd, Mason, OH 45040.

This role will focus on maintaining a high standard of cleanliness at the facility, including working at the police station on weekends. Candidates must complete a background check at the Mason Building before 4 PM (Monday–Friday) in order to begin employment. For a quick start, preference will be given to candidates with a clear background so results return within a few days.

Schedule & Pay

• Thursday through Sunday (5 hours per clean)
• Thursday & Friday: shifts must begin after 5 PM
• Saturday & Sunday: flexible start times, anytime during the day
• Pay rate: $16 + $1 shift premium

Responsibilities

• General cleaning and disinfecting
• Sweeping, mopping, and dusting
• Emptying trash cans
• Cleaning bathrooms (supporting with detail work—this facility has ~26 restrooms)
• Refilling dispensers
• Weekend focus: cleaning the police station
• Thursday & Friday: assist with detail cleaning and support restroom maintenance with Brian

Qualifications

• Entry level – no prior experience required (training provided)
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. (with or without accommodations)
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Must pass a full background check (no felonies within the past 7 years)
• Dependable and consistent attendance is required
