Goldfinch Neurobehavioral Services, LLC is a thriving pediatric mental health clinic. We provide neuropsychological evaluations for children and are dedicated to having a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients. Goldfinch Neurobehavioral Services, LLC is located in Eden Prairie, Minnesota approximately 15 miles south/southwest of downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul.
The Position
We are currently in search of an energetic, driven individual who can assist us with day-to-day operations. This is a full-time, exempt position.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Operations
· Complete patient insurance verifications
· Alert clinicians to necessary prior authorizations
· Submit prior authorizations and communicate outcomes to clinicians
· Collect/process payments
· Order office supplies
· Assist with light cleaning and tidying
· Monitor vendor services
· Coordinate with support team to address payroll, information technology needs
· Send, receive, and distribute correspondence as directed
· Resolve issues with Electronic Medical Record as they arise
Patient Care
· Provide a neat, warm, and professional first impression to all clinic visitors
· Answer phones
· Schedule patients
· Prepare new patient paperwork
· Produce cost estimates for patients
· Schedule interpreters for patient appointments as needed
· Check clients in for appointments
· Provide general customer service to support patients as needed
· Handle sensitive, confidential information
Personnel
· Maintain clinic schedules as requested
· Assist with on-boarding of new staff
· Manage coordination of team events to ensure strong team morale
Marketing
· Maintain relationships with referral sources
· Disseminate marketing materials
· Identify and coordinate development of new community relationships
Other
· Other duties as assigned by Clinic Director
Education & Experience Requirements
- Four-year college degree ideally in business, healthcare administration, or a related field
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Extensive knowledge of office processes and experience with office equipment
- Proficiency with all Microsoft Office software
- Strong attention to detail
- Professional, personable image
- Stable work history
- Experience in mental health clinic preferred
Mental & Physical Requirements
- Ability to multitask and manage various projects in an organized fashion
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to problem-solve independently, seek direction appropriately, and perform well under pressure
- Ability to self-motivate and work independently
-Trustworthiness in handling sensitive information (preference given to candidates with HIPAA compliance knowledge and training
-Ability to sit for long periods of time
-Ability to travel to local referral sources occasionally
-Positive attitude with strong team-player mentality
Job Type: Full-time
