About Us
SimcoDerm Medical & Surgical Dermatology Centre is a busy dermatology and clinical research centre involved in multiple Phase II–IV clinical trials in dermatology and related medical fields. We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Clinical Research Coordinator to join our growing clinical trials team.
This is a fast-paced medical environment requiring strong patient interaction skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS – PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING
Applicants will only be considered if they meet ALL of the following requirements:
- Must currently reside in Barrie, Ontario or close cities
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
- Must have experience with phlebotomy / blood collection
- Must have knowledge of medical terminology
- Must be available for in-person work in Barrie, Ontario
- Healthcare or clinical experience is mandatory

Preferred Qualifications
The following are considered strong assets:
- Previous experience in clinical research or clinical trials
- Experience in dermatology or medical clinics
- Experience with ECGs, vital signs, specimen processing, or patient assessments
- Knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines
- Experience with EMR systems and electronic data entry
- Nursing, medical office administration, biology, health sciences, or related healthcare background
Responsibilities
- Coordinate clinical trial visits and study procedures
- Perform phlebotomy and process laboratory specimens
- Collect and document patient data accurately
- Schedule and follow up with study participants
- Maintain study documentation and regulatory records
- Assist investigators and research staff with study-related activities
- Ensure compliance with protocol requirements and GCP standards
- Communicate with sponsors, CROs, monitors, and participants

Compensation
Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.
