The Opportunity
The Field Service Engineer is a member of the Customer Support Department and is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Clancy Machine Tool machinery at customer locations. We are seeking customer-focused professionals with a positive attitude, great customer service skills, and at least 5 years of experience in the field.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Install, train, and provide technical knowledge and troubleshooting on our product line at customer facilities.
• Provide a communication link between customers and CMT.
• Create and develop procedural documentation.
• Use and understand the Customer Support computer system.
• Support the Machine Builders.

Required Skills

• Must have strong electro-mechanical skills (motors, drives, transformers).
• Knowledge of a specialized field such as machine tool manufacturing, installation, operation, maintenance, repair, and/or a broad shop background.
• Technical knowledge and logical troubleshooting across our product line.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• Rational decision-making and problem-solving ability.
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
• Availability for travel depending on customer needs.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field or role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $40.00 per hour
