CNC Operator Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machines to fabricate precision parts according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge. The CNC Operator will work closely with other team members to ensure high-quality production and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines, including Fanuc-controlled equipment, to produce parts as per engineering specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints and CAD drawings to determine machining requirements.
• Set up and calibrate CNC machines for optimal performance and accuracy.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality standards are met throughout the production process.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation.
• Fabricate parts using various machining techniques, including the use of press brake machines when necessary.
• Package finished products according to company standards for shipment or storage.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot machinery effectively.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and CAD software is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and packaging processes is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing technologies within the industry.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
