Cnc Programmer - 5 Axis - Carlow (Ireland)

Our partner is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer / Applications Engineer to join an established engineering team at a world-renowned precision engineering company. In this role, you will be responsible for programming and Setting up, for production, advanced CNC machines to manufacture high-precision components for the Medical and Aerospace sectors. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects within a highly respected organization based in Carlow - Ireland.

Role: CNC Programmer / Applications Engineer - 5 Axis Milling.

Overall Objectives:

• NPI & technical transfers.
• Develop methods, strategies and programs for new parts
• Provide solutions for the development of customer’s products.
• CAM system optimization for full machine tool utilization.
• Produce standard operating procedures (SOP) and work instructions (WI) used in the production of the Company’s products
• Engage constructively with other functions and colleagues within the Company to drive continuous improvement and efficiency.
• Resolve problems in production processes in a timely and controlled manner.

Reporting to: Engineering Manager

Required Qualifications

· Skills / Experience:

• Proven capability in CNC Programming and operating of 5 Axis Milling is Essential
• ideal candidate profile would be an experienced CNC machinist with significant programming experience in CAM packages such as Fusion 360, NX Cam, Soliworks or Hypermill.
• Excellent communication skills. Written & Verbal
• Have a practical, constructive approach to problem solving.

Additional

· Training will be provided in areas where skills and knowledges gaps are identified.

What We Offer

· Salary: 42,000.00 to 50,000.00 Euro per Year (DOE)

· Benefits: 20 days annual leave and Company`s Pension.

• The right candidate must be willing to relocate permanently to Ireland.
