Cognitive Behavioral Intervention (Cbi-Emp) Workforce Development/Job Developer

Job Overview

The CBI-EMP Workforce Development/Job Developer is responsible for assisting in the administration and of day-to-day CBI-EMP programming. The job developer is trained and responsible for facilitating workforce development workshops, developing relationships with area employers, coaching employment candidates, while working to place employment justice involved candidates into positions of gainful employment.

Scope of Responsibilities

  • Trained in CBI-EMP, and able to facilitate CBI-EMP and workforce development workshops and makeup sessions, as needed.
  • Facilitate daily workforce development classes.
  • Create participants' resumes after reviewing client’s resume worksheets & career assessments.
  • Work with area employers to place clients in employment opportunities. (In person and via email)
  • Arrange face-to-face client meetings with prospective employers.
  • Meet one-on-one with program participants to review individual resumes, and create shared Gmail accounts, Indeed.com, ZipRecruiter, and Ohio Means Jobs.
  • Review step by step how to upload and distribute resumes and applications on all shared job searching accounts.
  • Assist participants when submitting resumes during workforce development workshops.
  • Distribute resumes online on behalf of program participants.
  • Facilitate job club activities for ECM (Enhanced Case Management) participants, such as but not limited to submitting resumes and/or applications; scheduling interviews; obtaining interview-appropriate clothing, and strengthening mock interview skills.
  • Input ECM Attendance into DRS (Data Reporting System); Provide ECM notes and Attendance to onsite POs and Program Managers by the following Monday.
  • Record client employer information in the DRS.
  • Record client opt-outs.
  • Begin monthly employment placements and 90-day retention verification attempts the prior month. Verification attempts should be made to the client via phone, text, and/or email in addition to an email to the Referring Officer and the Supervising Officers.
  • Report, record, and file monthly employment placements and 90-day retentions for billing before the end of the current month to the Program Manager.
  • Complete dosage hour forms (update daily after entering daily attendance)
  • Input workforce development attendance in the attendance form in the shared drive (Daily, by the end of the day. No longer than 8:30 am the next day).
  • Exhibits positivity, flexibility, and a willingness to take on new responsibilities as requested and required by the Program Manager, CBI Director, and any member of the Leadership Team.

Experience

Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services related field is preferred, plus three years of relevant experience. Must possess statistical and analytical skills, and a willingness to acquire de-escalation skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, outstanding organizational skills, and must demonstrate leadership, sound judgment, and flexibility.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $39,000.00 - $43,000.00 per year
