Commercial Appliance Technician

NPE-Tech is an established Electrical Contracting company based in New Plymouth, along with branches in Tauranga, Palmerston North, and Hamilton. We pride ourselves on our work, delivering on quality and safety within a friendly team environment.

We currently have a permanent position available within our New Plymouth branch for an Commercial Appliance Service Technician.

Reporting to the Service Manager we are looking for a versatile worker to service & carry out repairs and maintenance on commercial appliances. We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running happily working in their role & is always looking to do better.

The responsibilities & abilities of the successful applicant will include but not be limited to:

• Good skills with paperwork, timesheets & documentation
• Excellent verbal and written skills
• Skilled in servicing & fault finding of commercial and industrial appliances
• Mechanically minded
• Dedication to health & safety
• Preferably a Registered Electrician or as a minimum of NZ Electrical Appliance Serviceperson registration.
• Work as a team member as well as independently
• Excellent customer service and communication

Ideally, we would like someone who is experienced with fault finding, diagnosing, and repairing as well as maintaining commercial and industrial appliances. Ongoing training and support are included with this role.
