We are seeking a motivated and dependable CDL Class A Truck Driver to join our team at our Crystal Lake headquarters.

Position Overview

This role is responsible for delivering and picking up trench safety equipment including trench boxes, road plates, and slide rail systems. The ideal candidate is experienced with flatbed hauling, understands load securement, and is comfortable transporting wide loads (up to 10 feet) when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailers to deliver and retrieve equipment from customer job sites
• Safely load, secure, and transport trench boxes, road plates, and slide rail equipment
• Haul wide/oversized loads (up to 10') in compliance with regulations
• Drive in a safe, courteous, and defensive manner in all road conditions
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; maintain DOT compliance
• Navigate using GPS/maps and plan routes efficiently
• Communicate professionally with customers on job sites
• Assist with equipment returns and yard organization as needed
• Participate in inventory counts and general yard operations

Required Skills & Experience

• Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record
• Experience hauling flatbed or construction equipment preferred
• Comfortable backing trailers and maneuvering in tight job site conditions
• Knowledge of load securement and DOT regulations
• Ability to lift up to 65 lbs
• Strong work ethic with a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Must pass background check and drug screening
