We are seeking an experienced and client-focused Commercial Lines Account Manager to service and manage a portfolio of business clients across diverse industries. Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial lines insurance.
- Active Massachusetts Property & Casualty license (licensing assistance available.)
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, including General Liability, Property, Workers' Compensation, and Commercial Auto.
- Proficiency with agency management systems and carrier portals.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage a book of commercial clients, ensuring high retention and satisfaction.
- Handle renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and certificates of insurance.
- Provide coverage recommendations and proactive risk management support.
- Maintain accurate client records in the agency management system.
- Quote new business and assist producers with proposals.
- Communicate with carriers on underwriting, claims, and service issues.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive outreach.
- Answer telephone calls, greet clients, and prepare conference rooms for meetings.
- Process incoming and outgoing mail according to agency guidelines.
- Keep workstations, lobby, and conference areas organized and presentable.
- Update reports, maintain files/databases, and assist teammates as needed.
