Commercial & Marketing Lead (Full-Time) - Retail Experience Essential

Location: Office based - WFH one day per week.
Salary: Competitive, based on experience - Must inderstand Retail - this is a senior Role.
Reporting to: CEO

Positive Retail helps independent retailers modernise their operations through point-of-sale technology, payments, ecommerce integration, and strategic support. We work with growing brands across Ireland and the UK and are expanding quickly.

Why This Role Matters
This is a strategic and hands-on role that blends sales leadership, marketing execution, partner management, and team coaching. You’ll be responsible for driving revenue growth, shaping our campaigns, managing key partnerships, and ensuring our commercial team is supported and structured for success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire sales funnel, from lead qualification to close
  • Plan and execute monthly and quarterly marketing campaigns
  • Own CRM management (FreshSales), including pipeline tracking and reporting
  • Lead the creation of tailored proposals and quotes (via PandaDoc)
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships (e.g. REI, AIBMS, Guaranteed Irish)
  • Coach and support team members in commercial roles - you will be responsible for a small S&M team.
  • Oversee the brand across email marketing, social media, and events
  • Handle client handovers and contribute to account management as needed
  • You should understand and have worked with Markeitng tools - the role is commercail Sales experience is a must along with a bledned strong marketing head.

FreshSales, PandaDoc, Mailchimp, Canva, Calendly, JotForm, Meta Business Suite, ChatGPT, QuickBooks

What We’re Looking For

  • 4+ years of experience in a commercial or marketing leadership role
  • Proven ability to drive sales and execute marketing strategies
  • Confident communicator, comfortable with demos and relationship management
  • Experience with CRM systems and digital marketing tools
  • Adaptable, organised, and capable of working across multiple workstreams
  • Background in B2B, SaaS, tech, or fast-paced SME environments is a strong advantage
  • Retail Experience required
  • Salary based on experience and performance

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €50,000.00-€62,000.00 per year
