Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain commercial plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts and modifications.
• Perform welding, pipe threading, and assembly tasks to ensure secure and durable pipe connections.
• Conduct remodeling projects and troubleshoot HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems related to plumbing setups.
• Operate construction site machinery and heavy lifting equipment safely to transport materials and components.
• Follow detailed schematics and mechanical knowledge to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
• Maintain safety standards on construction sites by adhering to protocols for heavy lifting, carpentry tasks, and general site safety.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction plumbing, including installation, repair, and remodeling projects.
• Valid Alberta journeyman certificate
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and pipe threading machines.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with precision.
• Strong mechanical knowledge of plumbing systems, HVAC components, and related mechanical systems.
• Experience with construction site safety practices including heavy lifting and working at heights.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred for transporting materials or equipment to job sites.
• Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations.
• Maintenance Person experience or carpentry skills are advantageous for versatile project support. Pay: $40.00-$55.00 per hour
