Construction Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
• Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software to track progress and identify potential delays.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to facilitate seamless communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure clarity of scope and compliance with design specifications.
• Oversee construction site activities, ensuring safety protocols are followed and work is performed according to industry standards.
• Manage procurement processes including construction estimating, subcontractor selection, and contract negotiations.
• Utilize tools such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, and other construction management software to monitor project performance and document progress.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify quality control measures are maintained and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate project documentation including daily reports, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and safety records.
• Ensure timely delivery of projects by managing project schedules effectively while balancing resource allocation.

Skills

• Extensive experience with construction site management and project coordination in commercial or civil projects.
• Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, and other relevant tools.
• Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, contracts administration, and construction estimating techniques.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently under tight deadlines.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams while fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Deep understanding of construction safety standards and site regulations.
• Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $58,000.00 - $78,817.74 per year
