About The Book Resort
The Book Resort is a book subscription and gifting company with a retail shop in Tramore, Co Waterford. We create lovely gifting experiences both in our shop and online — and now we’re looking for someone to help share that story online in a fresh, authentic way.

The Role
We’re seeking a dynamic and imaginative Content Creator to join us on a part-time, rolling 3-month contract (approx. 5-10 hours per week). It's a hybrid role, the content will need to be taken in person in our Waterford shop — videos, photos, behind-the-scenes — and turn it into platform-ready posts for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

This is a hands-on role for someone who loves creating, experimenting, and bringing personality and energy to a brand’s online presence.

What You’ll Do

• Capture and edit high-quality video and photo content in-store.
• Plan, create, and post engaging content across TikTok, Meta (Facebook & Instagram), LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• Write compelling captions, hooks, and CTAs for each platform.
• Create and execute a content calendar that aligns with marketing goals and key gifting moments.
• Track performance and adjust strategies to improve sales, reach and engagement.
• Develop a tone of voice and visual style that reflects The Book Resort’s brand personality.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven, recent experience managing and creating content for TikTok, Meta (Facebook & Instagram), LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• Skilled in short-form video creation, editing, and timing of posting for best results.
• Understanding of platform algorithms, analytics, and social media trends. (Vey important)
• Strong eye for branding and storytelling.
• Confident creating content independently and hitting the ground running.
• Based in or near Waterford with availability for regular on-site work.

Contract Details

• Approx. 5-10 hours per week (flexible schedule)
