About the Role
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Content Developer/Copywriter to join our Student Communications team at Swinburne. In this role, you will play a vital part in planning, creating, and producing engaging content that tells compelling stories, resonates with student audiences, and aligns with the Swinburne brand.

As a key member of the Student Communications team, you will develop, implement, and maintain content across various formats and channels. This includes creating videos and written content for the Swinburne website, Swinburne App, digital signage, and student email campaigns.

Your ability to creatively and accurately translate briefs into optimised, high-quality content will help enhance student engagement, support retention efforts, and contribute to Swinburne’s broader brand and reputation objectives.

About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

  • Demonstrated experience working in a copywriting, communications or video content development role for a large and complex organisation
  • Demonstrated experience writing, editing, creating, and producing on-brand content for a range of audiences and channels
  • Demonstrated ability aligning audience needs and preferences with content strategies and objectives
  • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively as part of a team, and managing stakeholder expectations

Qualifications
A degree in marketing, communications or related fields with subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
