Hybrid Engineering & Contracting Ltd are a mechanical & electrical contractor. As we prepare for our next phase of growth we require a Contracts Manager to join our Senior Management team.

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Mechanical Contracts Manager with strong leadership abilities, capable of anticipating challenges and implementing effective contingency plans. Responsibilities

• Control all aspects of selected projects including planning, budgeting, and scheduling of projects from conception to completion.
• Coordinate with design and engineering teams to ensure that all projects meet client specifications and are delivered on time and within budget.
• Track and monitor project progress and ensuring that all of the project team are compliant with these systems.
• Ensuring that all disciplines of the project team are working effectively
• Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor project progress, identify and resolve issues, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Establish and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors, and negotiate contracts and agreements as needed.
• Manage the financial aspects of each project, including cost control, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Ensure that all work complies with relevant legislation, codes, and standards, including health and safety regulations.
• Ensure structures are put in place to monitor, review and control the budgeted or agreed expenditure.
• Implement cost and value procedures and ensure that all necessary commercial reports are produced accurately and in a timely fashion to Senior Management.
• Work closely with the Directors and Site Managers to support and recommend strategies, to identify any potential risks or issues and to find an appropriate resolution.
• Issue weekly progress reports to the client
• Issue monthly progress reports for Directors.
• Work collaboratively with Senior Management / Directors to continue to achieve business needs.

Candidate Requirements

• A mechanical background with a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Project / Contracts Manager in the construction industry with a background as a mechanical project engineer for 5+ years.
• Experience with an MEP engineering contractor or Main Contractor
• Knowledge of Mechanical & HVAC systems
• Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressure.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: €80,000.00-€100,000.00 per year
