Job Description:

We are currently looking for a skilled and adaptable Cook to become a part of our team in Burger max ,Northland Whangarei. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience in cooking

techniques, ensuring the highest standards of quality and flavour. This is a full-time,

permanent position with a minimum of 30 hours per week, with additional hours available if

available. The hourly wages range from $26.00 to $28.00 an hour.

Responsibilities:

 Prepare and cook burger patties, including beef, chicken, and vegetarian options,

ensuring consistent flavour, texture, and portion sizes as per the existing recipes.

 Prepare and cook burger components, including toppings and sauces, maintaining

quality and consistency.

 Expertly portion and prepare ingredients using precision knife skills.

 Manage marinades, breading, and seasoning processes for chicken and vegetarian

items to maintain texture and flavour.

 Assist in preparing the menu.

 Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic workstation in compliance with food safety

requirements.

 Contribute to menu updates and new product development, including innovative

burger offerings.

 Monitor ingredient usage, manage inventory, and assist with ordering supplies as

needed.

 Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to ensure timely service without

compromising quality.

Skills Required:

One year of relevant experience

Experience in preparing vegetarian and Chicken dishes

Experience working in a Commercial kitchen
