Courier Driver

Pyramid Solutions Limited, a trusted logistics company, seeks a dedicated and reliable Courier Driver to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about providing excellent service and ensuring timely, secure deliveries throughout the Palmerston North, Manawatu-Wanganui who will be responsible for the following duties:

• Drive company vehicles to deliver goods to designated locations, following assigned routes and schedules.
• Prioritize the timely and safe delivery of packages to clients and businesses.
• Confirm and document orders before departure and upon arrival, ensuring accurate delivery of all items.
• Assist in the efficient loading and unloading of cargo to prevent damage.
• Maintain organized records of deliveries, including signed receipts and delivery notes.
• Plan and adjust daily routes to maximize fuel efficiency and reduce travel time.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and report any issues or delays promptly.
• Inspect and maintain vehicle cleanliness and basic upkeep, reporting any mechanical issues immediately.
• Provide courteous and professional customer service, addressing client inquiries about their deliveries.
• Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times.

The candidate will be required to work at least 30 hours per week and be paid between $25 to $30 per hour.

Other important requirements:

• Available to start as early as 5:30 am.
• Must be able to work on weekends.
• Must have a valid driver's license (NZ or overseas)
• Must pass drug and alcohol tests.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
