Cover Cleaning Operative (Part Time)

Job summary

As a Cover Cleaning Operative you will be responsible for taking care of your assigned facilities, and you will carry out various cleaning and maintenance duties. Your main goal will be to keep the building/s in a safe, clean and orderly condition working within a team.

Main duties and responsibilities

1. Protect public health by cleaning and disinfection of designated facility areas.

2. Perform various cleaning actions such as dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.

3. Perform and track routine inspection

4. Perform and track janitorial and maintenance activities

5. Notify management in case there is a need for repair and maintenance interventions

6. Make adjustments and perform minor repairs

7. Stock and maintain supply rooms and washrooms

8. Cooperate with the rest of the teams on site for overall contract objectives

9. Follow all health and safety regulations

10. Comply with all COVID-19 safety and hygiene protocols

General

As a Cover Cleaning Operative you may be required to perform duties other than those given in the job description. The particular duties and responsibilities attached may vary from time to time without changing the general character of the duties or the level of responsibilities entailed. Such variations are a common occurrence and would not themselves justify the re-evaluation of the position. In cases, however, where a permanent and substantial change in duties and responsibilities of the position occurs, consistent with a higher level of responsibility, then the position would be eligible for re-evaluation.
