Position Type: Full-Time
Pay: Starting at $55K annually (exempt).

Job Overview:
As the Creative Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our visual identity and driving social media engagement. You will create visually compelling content, manage our social media channels, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute multi-platform campaigns. This role will involve working closely with the Creative Director, Digital Marketing Specialist, Content & Copywriting Specialist, and Sales & SME Teams to ensure all creative assets and social strategies align with brand objectives and drive business growth.


Travel Requirements:
This position requires domestic and international travel for trade shows, company events, content creation, and other business-related activities. Travel destinations may include, but are not limited to, Texas, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Canada, Mexico, and additional locations as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Brand Identity & Consistency
  • Develop and maintain brand guidelines across all portfolio companies, ensuring visual consistency across digital, print, and social platforms.
  • Act as a brand guardian, ensuring alignment with style guides, color schemes, and typography in all creative outputs.
Print, Digital Design & Social Media Content Creation
  • Print Collateral: Design trade show materials, product catalogs, brochures, packaging, and sales sheets.
  • Digital Assets: Create banner ads, website graphics, email templates, infographics, and other digital assets.
  • Social Media Content: Develop platform-specific content including graphics, videos, animations, and interactive posts for channels such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
Social Media Management
  • Develop, implement, and refine social media strategies that align with overall marketing goals.
  • Plan, schedule, and publish content across various platforms using scheduling tools.
  • Monitor engagement metrics (likes, comments, shares) and respond to inquiries in coordination with the customer support team.
  • Analyze performance data and adjust strategies for maximum engagement and growth.
  • Collaborate with the Content & Copywriting Specialist on captions, CTAs, and hashtag strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with the Digital Marketing Specialist to develop assets for Google Ads, SEO-driven content, and eCommerce platforms.
  • Collaborate with the Content & Copywriting Specialist to integrate compelling visuals with strategic messaging.
  • Work with the Creative Director to develop and execute creative campaigns, maintaining consistency across all channels.
  • Coordinate with the Sales & SME Team to ensure technical accuracy in product-related content.
Project Management & Workflow
  • Manage multiple design and social media projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Use project management tools (e.g., Monday.com) to track deadlines, organize feedback, and communicate timelines.
  • Ensure organized file management, proper version control, and accurate documentation for all creative projects.
Innovation & Trend Monitoring
  • Stay current with design trends, social media algorithms, and emerging marketing technologies.
  • Propose innovative creative concepts and social media strategies to enhance audience engagement and brand presence.
Quality Control & Performance Optimization
  • Proof all visual assets for errors before publication or printing.
  • Test and optimize designs for different devices, screen sizes, and platforms.
  • Conduct post-campaign reviews and integrate lessons learned into future creative strategies.

Qualifications and Skills:
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of professional experience in graphic design and social media management, preferably in a multi-brand or agency environment.
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Later).
  • Experience with video production, including filming, lighting, and basic setup, with familiarity in editing tools like Premiere Pro or After Effects as a plus.
Portfolio:
  • A robust portfolio showcasing digital, print, and social media campaigns, with a preference for technical or industrial marketing assets.
Analytical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of social media metrics, analytics tools, and data-driven optimization strategies.
Collaboration & Time Management:
  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable working across teams and integrating feedback.
  • Strong organizational abilities, capable of handling multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills
  • Experience with eCommerce design and creating assets for platforms like Amazon, Shopify, or custom marketplaces.
  • Expertise in brand development and evolving visual brand identities.
  • Ability to support basic product photography and coordinate with videographers.
  • Experience managing social media communities, responding to queries, and fostering engagement.

Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting/standing at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to access all areas of the facility to determine needs.
