Credit Controller

Position:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Credit Controller to join our leading multinational company, within the credit control team. The successful candidate will work with the wider finance team reporting to the Credit Control Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contact customers via telephone, letter, and email to collect outstanding debts.
• Work towards monthly cash and aged debt targets.
• Cross-reference receipts and transfers.
• Raise and issue monthly sales invoices.
• Ensure that cash allocation is accurate and matches customer ledgers.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve queries in a timely manner.
• Issue copy invoices or any other information as required by a client to resolve payment.
• Assist with other ad-hoc reporting and analytical tasks that arise and provide information to the management team on their areas of responsibility.

Requirements:

Key Skills:

• At least 3 years of experience in credit control, preferably in the Engineering industry.
• A good understanding of accounting procedures.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent IT literacy with particular emphasis on MS Excel.
• Confidence to engage with clients and senior management to resolve queries.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Positive, can-do attitude.
• Meticulous attention to detail
• SAP experience would be beneficial.
