We are looking for a Credit Manager to join our Global Credit Team. In this role, you will lead credit and collections for Regular accounts. You will bring together two existing teams and help them work as one strong, motivated unit across both local and international locations. You will also work with other teams to improve our finance systems and processes. A key part of this role is making sure we follow all legal, audit, and company standards while maintaining good relationships with others inside and outside the business.

What will you do as a Credit Manager?


As a Credit Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the company's financial success by managing credit and collections performance against key metrics. It ensures responsible customer sales and maximises cash flow. The position holds significant responsibility, managing high volume, Regular accounts.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Guiding, mentoring, and developing the Regular accounts team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Evaluating credit risk, enforcing credit limits and payment terms, and resolving disputes end-to-end.
  • Building strong relationships with Sales and Operations to deliver tailored, customer-focused service.
  • Monitoring aged debt, collections performance, and KPIs, and providing accurate, timely reporting.
  • Approving credit decisions up to £100k and escalating complex or high-risk cases to senior finance leaders.
  • Identifying and implementing improvements to credit control processes to support finance transformation.

What makes you the ideal candidate for this role?


The following will help you be an ideal candidate for this post:

  • A degree or CICM/AAT Level 4 qualification (or similar)
  • At least 5 years' experience in global credit management, working with complex and high-volume accounts
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess financial statements, credit reports, and identify risk trends.
  • Excellent communicator and relationship-builder across all levels and cultures.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and adaptable, with strong Excel skills and working knowledge of SAP.
  • Proactive, resilient, and solutions-focused, with a track record of sound decision-making under pressure.
