Customer Service Representative

Nordson Electronics Processing Systems , a trusted surface treatment and precision fluid dispensing equipment supplier within the global electronics manufacturing industry, is seeking a highly motivated and talented Customer Service Representative to join our team in Valkenswaard , the Netherlands . Summary of the role

The Customer Service Representative is part of a customer orientated team performing diversified duties. The Customer Service Representative is responsible for distinguished order processing functions from receipt of Purchase Orders through delivery and invoicing of both spare and equipment .

Assignments are moderately complex in nature where judgment is required in resolving problems and making routine recommendations. Normally receives no instruction on routine work, general instructions on new assignments.

Role and Responsibilities

• Facilitate communication from the customer, to sales, factory, tech support and logistics teams;

• responsible for interfacing with stakeholders to handle a variety of pre-sales or post-sales service functions

• Facilitate expedite requests with planning/shipping;

• Generate spare part quotes, check pricing, availability and perform order entry;

• Perform administrative activities to keep order status and planning activities current;

• Ensure process integration with other functional area;

• C4C/SAP interaction and support;

• Exercise judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions and ensuring customer commitments are met;

• C4C case management technology to communicate and document interactions with customers;

Skills and Qualifications

• Requires 2+ years order processing or equivalent experience;

• Bachelor’s degree preferred;

• In lieu of degree, 3-5 years of experience in sales/service industry required

• Proven skills in customer interactions with profound sense of urgency based on dedication and drive to deliver on commitments;

• High level of problem solving skills;

• Shows specific history and experience in complicated transactional process problems;

• Proven skill and many working examples of commitment to process improvement;

• Consistently viewed as an “owner” of process and transactional challenges that arise;

• High level of proven and effective relationship skills;

• Requires good communication and customer service skills

• SAP/C4C experience;

• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office;

• Ability to multi-task and effectively manage daily tasks;

• Excellent oral and written communication in English; Dutch/French/German is a plus

• Detail oriented.
