Customer Service Representative (Full-time, Part-time)

Service Ontario - Agincourt and Whitby offices are seeking outgoing, organized, and professional customer service representatives to join our team and provide top-notch service to our customers in the Service Ontario private (local non-government owned) issuing offices.

Customer Service Representative: Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain updated knowledge of relevant Service Ontario services in order to provide adequate services to customers
  • Promptly respond to and resolve customer issues
  • Process health card, driver's license and vehicle transactions accurately by following prescribed protocol
  • Obtain necessary information from customers to adequately and efficiently process transactions
  • Foster and maintain relationships with customers to improve retention rate

Customer Service Agent: Requirements and Qualifications

  • Must be available to work shifts between the hours of 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday -Friday and 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Saturdays. Flexibility with your availability is required within this time frame
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Strong communication skills in English; bilingual proficiency in French is highly desirable.
  • 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced customer service-related role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
  • Strong keyboarding skills
  • Ability to foster and maintain working relationships
  • Organizational skills with the ability to manage numerous priorities in a busy office environment
  • Positive and service-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to learn and thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment while maintaining a high level of customer service
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Willingness to work as part of a team
  • Efficient, organized and a natural problem solver
  • High level of patience and ability to manage a variety of customer needs.
  • Must be able to provide an acceptable Criminal Record & Judicial Matters Check (CRJMC) upon being hired

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 44 per week
