Schedule & Pay

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM (hours may vary based on school needs)
  • Compensation: $18–$19 per hour

✨ Position Overview

Join a team dedicated to creating warm, engaging, and developmentally rich experiences for young learners. In this role, you’ll help shape daily activities, support children’s growth, and contribute to a safe, welcoming classroom environment.

Required Education & Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a licensed childcare center
  • At least 6 college credit hours in Early Childhood Education or a related field

️ Pre‑Employment Requirements

All candidates must successfully complete:

  • Fingerprint background check
  • Drug screening
  • TB test
  • Family Care Safety Registry (FCSR) background check
  • Proof of Hepatitis A vaccination
  • Sex Offender Registry check
  • CPR certification (may be obtained after permanent hire)

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with curriculum goals
  • Maintain classroom schedules, lesson plans, and monthly calendars
  • Observe, document, and assess children’s progress; contribute to portfolios and accreditation requirements
  • Assist with meal and snack routines, including setup and cleanup
  • Rotate toys, sensory materials, and art supplies to support learning themes
  • Ensure a safe indoor and outdoor environment; maintain emergency supplies and documentation
  • Foster a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere for children and families
  • Uphold licensing, accreditation, and organizational standards
  • Update bulletin boards and display children’s work regularly
  • Clearly post menus, mission statements, calendars, and required documents
  • Communicate with families daily and participate in parent‑teacher conferences
  • Follow all policies outlined in organizational handbooks
  • Maintain required certifications, including pediatric first aid and CPR
  • Safely lift and support children up to 30 pounds throughout the day
  • Engage actively with children—floor play, outdoor supervision, hands‑on activities
  • Complete all documentation and record‑keeping accurately and on time
  • Support center‑wide family events and activities
