Delivery Driver

Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The schedule will be split across two drivers to ensure coverage 7 days per week. The days are flexible as long as you coordinate with the other driver(s) time off. Hours are generally 4am to 9am, with slightly longer hours on weekends or when picking up from vendors. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to our customers. This position requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to navigate routes effectively, and experience with heavy lifting and warehouse operations. Duties

• Safely operate a delivery van or other delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload products using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, hand trucks.
• Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules while maintaining compliance with traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Provide outstanding customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure operational safety.
• Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization of goods.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and delivery confirmations.
• Pick orders at Restaurant Depot / Costco, deliver to production facility and put away in proper locations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Experience in warehouse operations is advantageous, including familiarity with loading and unloading procedures.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks as required by the job.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving commercial vehicles is a plus.
• Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles is desirable.
• Knowledge of route driving techniques and navigation systems is beneficial.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
