Delivery Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and maintaining positive interactions with clients. Prior experience with warehouse operations, commercial driving, and route management is highly valued.

Duties

• Safely operate box trucks or similar commercial vehicles to deliver products to customers and clients.
• Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques.
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals.
• Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management and stock organization when not on delivery routes.
• Ensure all deliveries are accurately documented and signed off by recipients.
• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the vehicle, performing routine inspections before and after trips.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client questions or concerns professionally during delivery interactions.
• Comply with all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation activities.

Skills

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with knowledge of route driving and navigation skills.
• Valid <PERSON> driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience preferred.
• Ability to operate a box truck with manual transmission safely.
• Experience with warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills to ensure positive client interactions.
• Physical ability for heavy lifting, moving cargo, and loading/unloading packages efficiently.
• Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and adherence to traffic regulations.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple deliveries throughout the day.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $80.00 - $100.00 per day
