Responsibilities

• Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and commercial trucks with manual transmissions, to transport goods efficiently.
• Load and unload items using equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling and safety.
• Plan and follow optimized delivery routes to meet schedules and maximize efficiency.
• Interact professionally with customers during deliveries, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns.
• Verify delivery details, complete necessary paperwork, and obtain signatures when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and routine maintenance of delivery vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
• Assist in warehouse activities such as inventory management, moving stock, or organizing supplies when not on route.

Experience

• Prior experience as a delivery driver or courier is highly preferred, especially with route driving responsibilities.
• Demonstrated ability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks safely and efficiently.
• Warehouse experience is a plus, including familiarity with load & unload procedures.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is advantageous.
• Knowledge of operating box trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment is beneficial.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Experience with manual transmission vehicles is desirable but not mandatory; training can be provided for qualified candidates.
