Delivery Driver

Job Summary
We are FedEx contractors. we deliver package to residential and commercial customers.We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and maintaining positive interactions with clients. Prior experience with commercial driving, warehouse operations, or courier services is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate box trucks and other delivery vehicles, including those with manual transmissions
• Load and unload goods usinng manual lifting techniques
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely arrivals
• Deliver products to customers’ locations while maintaining professionalism and excellent customer service
• Verify delivery orders and obtain signatures upon receipt
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues
• Assist with warehouse tasks such as moving inventory as needed
• Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic laws during route driving

Skills

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, with route driving expertise
• Strong customer service skills to ensure positive client interactions
• Warehouse experience including loading, unloading, and moving inventory
• Ability to operate commercial vehicles such as box trucks with manual transmissions
• Familiarity with forklift operation and pallet jacks is a plus
• Physical ability for heavy lifting and moving items of various sizes and weights
• Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record (PERSON driver preferred)
• Ability to navigate efficiently using GPS or route planning tools
• Good communication skills and attention to detail for accurate documentation
