Job Overview
A Delivery Technician is a vital position in the Buddy’s Home Furnishings organization. This positions serves as a company brand ambassador providing superior customer service by delivering and installing quality top name products directly to our customer’s homes. Additional responsibilities include loading, securing, set up, troubleshooting and demonstrating merchandise. Principal Responsibilities
 Acquire and Maintain Customers
 Ability to demonstrate product features and explain the benefit of those features
 Basic furniture, appliance, home electronics delivery, installation and removal
 Complies with all company vehicle safety standards and documentation
 Inside/outside service calls
 Protection of company assets which includes but not limited to inventory, equipment and vehicles

Essential Requirements
 Intermediate math skills
 Must be able to drive during day, night and meet all safety requirements
 Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in person and over telephone
 Must be proficient in product features, benefits; must be able to work on showroom floor
 Must have proficient navigational skills

Physical Requirements
 Position routinely requires lifting, loading, moving, and using a dolly for merchandise 50‐300 pounds
 Stooping, bending, pulling, climbing, reaching and grabbing as required
 Must be able to traverse multiple flights of stairs while carrying furniture, appliance, and electronics
 Prolonged driving and standing
 Must be able to work in and outdoors in a variety of climates and weather conditions

General Qualifications
 Ability to work Monday through Saturday between the hours of 8am and 9pm
 Overtime may be required
 Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (MVR) required
 Ability to successfully pass company background check, substance abuse test, and acceptable reference check from previous employers
