The Delivery Operations Manager is a strategic central role responsible for the seamless execution of the quarterly and annual delivery plan by defining strategies and acting as a hands-on problem-solver to support our regional operations. This role will also drive a strategic improvement agenda by defining best practices and supporting each of the 30+ markets in EMEA in this time of accelerated growth. This role is both strategic and operational, and requires an individual with strong analytical skills, a bias for action, and the ability to resolve operational problems large and small.
What You'll Do
- Lead strategic initiatives to optimize Tesla’s delivery operations in EMEA, targeting clear outcomes and improvements on productivity, cost reduction, or customer satisfaction
- Partner with regional delivery teams in EMEA as well as various internal stakeholders, to standardize and streamline delivery processes. Collaborate closely with regional delivery teams to develop optimized delivery workflows and processes, emphasizing automation and self-service
- Establish systematic feedback loops to consolidate customer feedback, regional requests, and performance metrics, facilitating comprehensive improvement plans
- Partner with markets to align the EMEA delivery plan and strategy with localized objectives
- Coordinate the setup of operations in new countries and markets, managing multiple stakeholders' needs and local readiness requirements
- Enhance automation, improve productivity, reduce costs, and maintain compliance with Tesla standards. Drive development of analytical models to proactively understand the impact of existing and emergent issues affecting Delivery operations
- Build and manage a team of brilliant people to help succeed with the tasks at hand. Coach, develop and support team members to secure top quality deliveries and employee satisfaction
What You'll Bring
- Background in Operations Management, Process Engineering, or relevant experience running and/or supporting operations across multiple countries
- Proven track record in delivering change, process improvement, and root cause analytics, with examples of achieving quantifiable results like process efficiencies or cost savings
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong leadership acumen and the ability to build a team based on each team members strengths
- A creative mindset that thinks outside the box and can invent new solutions to problems
- Ability to develop collaborative & respectful relationships and act as a trusted partner that others want to work with
