Demand Generation Copywriter (Content And Graphic Design Specialist)

Job Summary

Developing and implementing demand generation content: Write clear, engaging, and persuasive copy for various marketing materials, including ads, emails, landing pages, social media posts, and case studies.
Managing the content lifecycle: Oversee the entire process from creation and editing to approvals, publishing, auditing, and measuring performance.
Curating, repurposing, and maintaining content: Ensure content is up-to-date, relevant, and effectively reused across different platforms and campaigns.
Collaborating with Global and Regional Marketing and Sales teams: Work closely with these teams to ensure the content aligns with business goals and resonates with the target audience.



Areas of Responsibility

  • Write content based on requests and creative briefs from the global Vertiv Editorial Calendar SmartSheet tool. Use the Vertiv brand and messaging guidelines, audience insights, personas, keyword research, campaign plans, competitive information, and content performance analytics to create related content.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional participants (e.g., portfolio marketing, digital marketing, demand center, field marketing, marketing operations, agencies, freelancers) as needed to support content ideation, creation, activation, and measurement requirements.
  • Collaborate with demand program owners, content strategists, and/or campaign managers to integrate and repurpose content marketing and campaign content where appropriate.
  • Collaborate with other functions to gather the information needed to optimize content asset creation, performance, and measurement.
  • Implement, support, and evangelize content marketing best practices.

Requirements:

1. Experience:

  • Proven experience as a copywriter or in a similar role.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of writing samples.

2. Skills:

  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles.
  • Ability to write clear, persuasive, and engaging content for different platforms (e.g., websites, social media, emails).
  • Creativity and the ability to think outside the box.
  • Strong research skills to understand industry trends and target audiences.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with marketing, design, and other teams.

3. Technical Proficiency:

  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and marketing automation tools.
  • Basic understanding of HTML and web publishing.
