Dental Patient Care Coordinator/ Receptionist

We are a busy, well-established practice in Etobicoke that offers the community a wide range of services.
We have expanded into a larger space and are ready to add to our stellar team by hiring another Patient Care Coordinator.
Job description:
- Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff at the front desk
- Schedule appointments and manage the office calendar
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries
- Manage and maintain electronic medical records and ensure confidentiality of patient information
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and others
- Complete billing and insurance claims processing
- Send pre determinations and audit coverage for upcoming scheduled appointments
- Order and maintain office supplies and equipment
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and email correspondence
- Perform a variety of other administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the office
Requirements:
- At least two years current experience in a dental office as an administrator in Ontario
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Enthusiastic, outgoing, positive personality
- Must possess strong computer/keyboarding abilities
- Abeldent software experience and assisting experience an asset
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Ability to work in a paperless setting
