Position Title: Dental Assistant

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team. The Dental Assistant will be responsible for providing chairside support to dentists during dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Additionally, the Dental Assistant will be responsible for scheduling patients' next appointments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
• Ensure patients are comfortable and prepared for treatments.
• Take and develop dental X-rays.
• Record patient information and update dental records.
• Provide postoperative instructions as directed by the dentist.
• Manage infection control by preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized dental operatory and lab.
• Schedule patients' next appointments, ensuring efficient workflow and optimal patient experience.
• Manage supplies and inventory.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Dental Assistant certification or diploma from an accredited program.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on patient care.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Proficiency in using dental software and scheduling systems. Experience with Ascend preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
