Dental Receptionist

Location: Kitsilano, Vancouver

We're seeking a skilled and friendly Dental Receptionist to join our team! As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll be responsible for scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for everyone who walks through our doors.

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients as they arrive and ensure they feel welcome and comfortable.
• Schedule and confirm appointments for patients
• Collect and verify patient information and insurance details
• Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries and concerns
• Maintain patient records and ensure accurate data entry
• Process and file insurance claims and verify coverage
• Collect payments from patients and ensure accurate billing
• Assist with various administrative tasks as needed by the office manager

Requirements:

• Familiarity with dental terminology, codes, and procedures.
• Minimum of 1 year working in a dental office is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in computer skills and experience with dental software.
• Dentrix knowledge is an asset.

Working Days: Monday to Thursday (clinic is only open 4 days a week), no evenings.

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
