Digital Buyer – Gothenburg

We are looking for a consultant to take on the role of Digital Buyer within indirect procurement.

In this assignment, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end sourcing and implementation of digital and IT products and services. The scope includes both hardware and software procurement, with a strong focus on establishing and managing effective partnerships both internally across the organization and externally with suppliers.

Assignment description and key responsibilities

• Drive the full sourcing process – from RFI/RFQ through to contract signing – and manage supplier performance reviews.
• Handle procurement of new digital hardware, software or services in line with strategies developed together with digital stakeholders.
• Act as an advisor to stakeholders on procurement-related matters, offering support and guidance throughout the procurement cycle, including handling change requests.
• Monitor supplier performance by regularly tracking quality, cost and project deliverables across the network, using both manual and automated methods.
• Identify and implement corrective actions to strengthen contract compliance and ensure continuous follow-up.

Deliverables:

• Carry out and finalize both ongoing and upcoming RFQs.
• Ensure that all relevant software and hardware are covered by negotiated and valid contracts.
• Continuously improve and optimize the existing supplier and product portfolio.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and the procurement function to define strategies for the current portfolio.

The Team:

You will be part of a group consisting of three buyers, one contract specialist, and a category manager. Each buyer is dedicated to supporting different domains within the digital area.

Requirements:

• Solid procurement background with proven experience in software sourcing.

• Previous experience within the IT domain.
