We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and kitchen workspaces.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients.
• Support banquet and catering events by ensuring all necessary items are cleaned and ready for service.
• Perform bussing duties by clearing tables and transporting dirty dishes to the dishwashing area.
• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and sanitation standards are met.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain a smooth workflow during busy service periods.
• Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to management promptly.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with food service operations, including food handling and cleaning protocols.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
• Experience in catering or banquet settings is a plus.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential for success in this role.
