Dishwasher/Food Prep

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Food Preparation Worker to join our culinary team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the food service process, ensuring that all ingredients are prepared efficiently and safely for cooking and serving. Duties

• Prepare ingredients for cooking by washing, chopping, and measuring food items according to recipes or specifications.
• Assist cooks and chefs in the kitchen with various tasks to ensure smooth operations during meal preparation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean working environment.
• Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food as needed for banquets or special occasions.
• Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages to supervisors.
• Collaborate with team members to meet service timelines and maintain high-quality standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food preparation or related roles within the culinary or hospitality industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen operations.
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and preparation.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
