Dishwasher/Food Prep

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Food Prep team member to support our busy kitchen operations. This role is essential in maintaining cleanliness, ensuring food safety standards, and assisting with food preparation to deliver a seamless dining experience. Ideal candidates will have a passion for hospitality, strong attention to detail, and experience in food service environments such as restaurants, catering, or hotels.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment efficiently and according to health standards
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, dining area, and food prep stations
• Support bussing duties by clearing tables and resetting dining areas promptly
• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality standards are met
• Assist with catering setups and banquet service as needed
• Ensure all cleaning supplies are used safely and stored properly
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy service times

Skills

• Experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred
• Knowledge of food handling safety and sanitation standards
• Ability to perform basic food prep tasks such as chopping and assembling ingredients
• Familiarity with bussing, serving, or banquet experience is a plus
• Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail in maintaining hygiene standards
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment under supervision
• Good communication skills and teamwork orientation
• Prior culinary or hospitality experience beneficial but not required
