Duties

• Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen utensils, dishes, cookware, and food prep areas to meet health and safety standards
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning items for service or catering events
• Support food service operations by bussing tables, clearing dishes, and ensuring dining areas are tidy and welcoming
• Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols
• Aid in setting up banquet or catering stations, including organizing supplies and preparing serving areas
• Contribute to overall kitchen cleanliness through routine cleaning tasks like sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
• Support the culinary team with light cooking tasks as needed to ensure timely meal delivery

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, catering, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
• Familiarity with basic food handling practices and sanitation standards
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy trays or cleaning supplies
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and safety
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with bussing tables or supporting banquet events is a plus
• Knowledge of kitchen safety procedures and basic culinary skills is advantageous

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
